This week we are starting with one of the most important people in your life - Mum (and as a mum I can safely say I would be more than happy to receive any of these. Hint.)

Ellie Ellie does the Ideal Home Show at Christmas!

Oh my goodness. It was amazing.

Above, right to left;

It was just so beautiful. I mean.. Really, just incredible to look at. You walk in and the first thing you see is a fairy light strewn 'enchanted forest', snow coated trees hung from the ceiling, surrounding you. Picture the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. but less scary. 

It immediately felt Christmassy, and it only got more so. A huge ice skating rink lay in the middle, drowned in soft rainbow lighting, headed by a bandstand dripping in fairy lights. Everywhere you looked we're just lights and snow and trees and baubles. And not to mention celebs...

We had so much fun. Getting kisses from Gino D'acampo. Doing lots and lots of Street Style photos (which will be up here v. soon so keep your eyes peeled). Going mad on Instagram (add us @ellieelliecouk). Handing out free sweets. Seeing how much everyone loved our products (very rewarding). We can't wait for the next one.

Now.. Saving the best till last.. What you've all been waiting for.. The Ellie Ellie stand. Now to blow our own trumpet, but it was definitely the best there. I mean.. Look at it (below). We worked so hard to make it look fab and it really paid off, if we do say so ourselves! If you weren't there you missed out!

Ss13 trends: Trainers. With everything.

It seems like Olympics fever is still upon the fashion world, even come Spring Summer 2012.

Trainers made a big appearance at two big names - Moschino and Ashish, although they were both done in completely different ways.

The Ashish collection was a crazy nineties, sequinned, mash up of bleach blondes in glasses and reebok classics. The reeboks were topped off with shimmering glittering socks, in black, white, silver and gold. Topknots and scrunchies were worn ironically with billowing ball gowns, the white kicks poking out playfully.

On the other hand, Moschino played it differently - pretty dresses, skater skirts and prim (but shockingly transparent) shirts in pastels and black were contrasted against the bright, bold trainers, reminiscent of classic Nikes. The models looked ladylike, from 

head to.. Well, ankle, when the shoes became a surprising addition to such a girly pallet.

Trainers. As you will see (very soon!) are going to be big. Really big. Like, wear with everything anytime kind of big. But more on that later..
Anyway, this weeks Ellie Ellie Wears is for a romantic date, a chilled out Sunday or just because it looks good. Featuring Ellie Ellie's Stamp Heart Pendant, the pink and reds cheer up this miserable weather. And let's face it, Breton stripes are never going away, ever!

We are so excited about the Christmas Ideal Home Show!

            

       

Ellie Ellie HQ has been working overtime to make sure we make a huge impression  - after all, the place is going to be littered with celebrities! We're going to be rubbing shoulders with Gino D'acampo, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and Myleen Klass - and we are SO excited.

All the staff have been pitching in to make sure it is the most Christmassy and lovely few days possible.
