Lets get Vegucated!

Vegucated is a film Danielle watched late last year and really loved! The idea of vegucated was partly a sociological experiment, with three people adopting a vegan diet for 6 weeks, this film tracks their journey.

Based in New York, the film follows these three meat and cheese loving people, who begin to uncover the hidden sides of animal agriculture that makes them wonder whether other food films offer enough information about where we get our meat from.

For those who are after a new challenge this year, January is the perfect time to adopt a new diet. Whether you think you eat too much cheese or meat or both, now is a great time to adopt a vegan or vegetarian diet, even just for a few weeks. Danielle is going to try not eating meat for January and we will keep you updated on her progress!

If you want to find out more about the film Vegucated, see their website and watch the trailer!

Have you ever thought of changing your diet or becoming a vegan?

No Text Tuesday!

It was in about October last year that we were browsing through Pinterest (like you do) and came across a simple message 'No text Tuesday'. We started talking about this and realised how much people, and ourselves rely on their phones nowadays, and we are always talking about how we want to stop being so dependent on our phones all the time.

We decided to take part in our very own No Text Tuesday, whereby we simply do not text anybody, or reply to anybody for the whole day. If we need to talk to someone about something or reply to a text we simply ring our friends and family instead, and start a conversation.

This message is also used in the YouTube video 'Look Up', which asks you to look up from your phone and look at people and connect with people, and to stop missing out due to your phone!

We will be taking part in No Text Tuesday through January, what will you be doing differently?
