Ellie Ellie Wears: Peter Pan Collar

Wear a statement dress this autumn with a Peter Pan Collar which looks chic, bold and simple at its best! This Retro Coco Dress from Phix Clothing is a great monochrome look, and would work well with minimal accessories or even for a work look! Pair with this Pork Pie Hat for casual wear from Topshop to really stand out. Our Ellie Ellie Recycled Aluminium Initial Star Bracelet is a lovingly handcrafted bracelet that is simple but personal too, and would look great with this dress.

Lastly, these loafer shoes from Whistles are timeless and beautifully cut! Wear with tights if the weather gets colder (which is more than likely).

Ellie Ellie Wears: Goodwood Festival of Speed Style

Goodwood's Annual Festival Of Speed kicked off yesterday, with people flocking from all over to attend the biggest motoring garden party in the world. A mash up of cars and celebrities, the event holds a gleaming reputation as the Mecca for motor sport stars. We love this black and white check dress from Zara which definitely has tinges of the F1 flag. Team it with this simple over sized white blazer from New Look, a gorgeous black leather clutch from Notonthehighstreet.com and of course an Ellie Ellie accessory! We've picked our Upcycled Domino Necklace to stick with that monochrome feel!

Ellie Ellie Wears

This week we take a look at Vogue's fave colour of Spring- black. Designers such as Dolce & Gabbana and Stella McCartney have all been designing simple dark outfits for a moody British spring.

I know it's a shock. Who'd of thought black would of been a colour for Spring. LBDs have long been a staple for every women's wardrobe. This little number from Miss Selfridge with it's sweet Peter Pan collar adds a hint of femininity!  Loafers are another essential- these give a bit of balance to the prettiness of the dress, making it a fab outfit for work or a smart/casual dinner date. Ellie Ellie's necklace made from Upcycled Lego is a great bit of nostalgic humor and a great conversation starter with the lads. Check out Ellie Ellie's full up-cycled brick collection here
