Well, you can at the UK's first speciality café in London, aptly named Cereal Killer. After huge success at their first branch in Brick lane, twin brothers and brains behind the business Alan & Gary Keery have just opened a second in Camden Stables. You can expect a feeling of nostalgia as the cafe offers all the cereals we loved as kids! We took a trip up there to take a look (and have some breakfast!)

If you fancy trying something new, you'll be spoilt for choice - they have some that are from as far as the USA and South Korea, and we certainly enjoyed our choice on our visit!

Traditional Family Fun!

Throughout this month, Brighton Beach welcomes guests to celebrate one of the greatest old-fashioned puppet shows loved by all ages - Punch and Judy! Brighton is know to have helped this world famous show become as popular as it is, and it's back once again!

The ever growing puppet show dates back to as far as the 16th century, and has survived the centuries! It got us thinking about timeless family games and entertainment.

Many of us will remember playing certain games such as Snap or Dominoes with our parents or siblings when we were young, but are they something you never really grow out of? Perhaps it is the feeling of nostalgia and happy memories that make us go back to these family favourites!

Whether you love an evening in with a board game or enjoy outdoor activities in the garden, you can guarantee hours of fun with our selection of Traditional family games, not forgetting our lovely Traditional Bingo Game and Five Game Compendium for a few different choices!

For more information on the Punch & Judy Show in Brighton, head over to their website!

The Great British Idiom!

We are huge fans of the great British idiom at Ellie Ellie. If you're not sure what exactly an idiom is, it's a group of words that have a particular meaning together that is different from the meanings of each word on its own. You can see an example of a British idiom with our new Idiom jewellery collection!

'Apple of my eye' is a well known idiom referring to someone that you cherish above all others, making it perfect for a girlfriend or best friend.

'Love you to the moon and back' is a well known idiom to tell someone how much they mean to you. The huge distance described relates to the lengths of your love for them.

To give someone 'butterflies' is a well known saying related to falling in love and refers to the feeling in their stomach because a person makes them feel special.

'Birds of a feather, flock together' is a well known idiom linked to friendship. The saying refers to birds of the same species, keeping together and being strong, making these studs a great gift for your best friend.

'Every cloud has a silver lining' is a well known idiom related to optimism. It means that difficult times often lead to better times and that the dark clouds will pass, to reveal sunshine.

One Year Ago Today!

This year we are taking the time to look back on the amazing milestones and events that happened in 2014! It was a year ago today that we received our copy of 'Shape Up Your Business' by Sophie Cornish and Holly Tucker, founders of

There was something brilliant about getting the physical copy as Danielle contributed some of her own business advice to the book, answering questions about how she has developed Ellie Ellie and grown it to what it is today! Some of our Notonthehighstreet friends are in it too!

Have you seen us in the book?

What milestones are you looking back on this year?
