Chinese New Year is February 10, and 2013 is the Year of the
Snake.
Anything but cute, python prints have been a favourite with
designers for years in handbags and footwear, but for this spring it’s entering
the realm of clothing in a huge way. Gucci, Erdem and Proenza Schouler all used
the effect on structured boxy silhouettes.
We love a bit of animal print in our outfits, and snakeskin
looks to bring a bit of excitement to our wardrobes in the run up to Valentines
day!
This week, Miranda Kerr looked gorge as usual, wearing a
chiffon snakeskin print blouse to get her nails done in LA. She teamed it with
jeans, and an oversized black Givency tote bag.
